Breast health

Our doctors check breast problems and can arrange a breast ultrasound scan here at the hospital. If you need more tests or treatment, we refer you and help you with the next step.

See a doctor if you notice: a lump, a change in the shape or skin of a breast, discharge from a nipple, or pain that does not go away. Most breast changes are not cancer, but it is always worth getting them checked early. Cancer care at GCGH

Family planning

We offer a wide range of contraception, so you can choose when to have children and how far apart. Leaving at least two years between births is safer for both mother and baby.

Pregnancy and Maternal Health initiative

GCGH started this initiative in 2014 because of high rates of complications and deaths in pregnancy. We collect data to find and prevent avoidable causes of maternal death, with extra support for women most at risk: very young mothers, older mothers and women with disabilities.
